Interestingly the ‘musical composition’ “Sympohie Monotone- Silence” is listed twice, while strict performance instructions are included along with the orchestra sections. The instructions roughly translate as:
Duration 5 minutes or 7 minutes + 45 minutes of absolute and clear silence – Nobody moves in the orchestra Very lively interpretation – tense – continuous – No attack must be perceptible – You must not not feel the bow strokes.
Another example of special interest bearing the blind stamp of Jean-Paul Ledeur, an expert on Yves Klein and author of the Catalogue raisonné des éditions et sculptures by Klein. Scarce.
