Lund: Galleriet, 1981 (11), 21×14,8 cm [folded]. Bifolium. Exhibition invitation / multiple consisting of a piece of felt-like cardboard folded in half. On the first page there is the name “Joseph Beuys” blind-stamped with a cliché made of fat (see the oily impression spreading around it). A rare under-catalogued Beuys multiple. Another special piece from Anders Tornbeg’s gallery Galleriet (later to be renamed after Tornberg himself), famous for its corpus of whimsical and unexpected invite-multiples. Comes with the original, iconic green envelope it was mailed in.
