Working once more on a very personal level, Darboven draws raw material from an intimate gathering in December of 1979 featuring live gypsy music and reworks it annotating each photo she uses in this edition, in her illegible, cryptic scripture. We see her chain-smoking and floating among friends and relatives, in some of the 31 snapshots, a number of which of her omnipresent mother. Edition of 250 copies this one being Nr. 3. This particular copy was presented by Darboven, signed, dated and inscribed on folder to Gaffron who apparently attended the gathering in December. For that reason, Darboven encloses 18 of the original snapshots [13×8,8 cm] used in the making of this edition. All photographs with plain back, date-stamped “12’79”. A unique copy.
