Beautiful, oversized exhibition invitation card published in conjunction with Judd’s first solo show in Germany, part of his first run of shows in Europe between May and June 1969 [see also this item]. The exhibition was held at the short-lived ‘warehouse’ space of Zwirner gallery. The back of the card also announces that from June 4th – the opening day of Judd’s show – and for 8 days, Sigmar Polke would be working and exhibiting at the warehouse space also. A very interesting document from a unique synergy [?] between the two artists.
